Paid Machine Response License

Version 1.0 · License ID the-artillerist-paid-machine-response-v1.0

This license applies only to a specific article API response or Commission Quote API response after its required x402 payment successfully settles. Paying for one response does not grant access to other responses or ownership of The Artillerist’s underlying content, database, trademarks, or software.

What a purchaser may do

• Retrieve, parse, and analyze the purchased response.
• Use the response as input to an AI system for the purchaser’s requested task.
• Ground an answer, create a summary, and extract facts, recommendations, or calculations for the purchaser.
• Present a Commission Quote API result to the end user who requested that quote.
• Keep the resulting answer, summary, quote, citation, and transaction record for the purchaser’s records.
• Quote limited portions when reasonably necessary, with a link to the canonical article when practical.

What a purchaser may not do

• Use the response to train or fine-tune a model.
• Add the response to a persistent training corpus, retrieval corpus, or bulk content index.
• Republish or redistribute the complete response or substantial portions of it.
• Resell the raw response, reconstruct the benchmark catalog for resale, or create a competing article or quote database from repeated purchases.
• Remove ownership notices, imply endorsement, or circumvent payment and access controls.
• Use third-party material referenced by a response beyond the rights independently granted by its owner.

Articles and quote results

Article purchases permit task-specific retrieval, grounding, analysis, and summarization. Commission Quote API purchases permit decision support and presentation of the resulting estimate to the requesting end user. Neither response is a binding offer or legal, tax, or financial advice.
